Bubble Hockey in support of Sick Kids

The Hospital for Sick Children is a foundation Ontario Redimix has been proud to partner with for many years. All donations go in support of the Hospital for Sick Children’s highest priority needs including research, clinical advances, compassionate care and “unrestricted giving”. Unrestricted giving is the most flexible source of funding to speedily deploy funds in the areas of most promise or most need.

Over the past two years, we have happily supported the SickKids Bubble Hockey Tournament, which is an exciting event to raise awareness and funds for The Hospital for Sick Children. During the tournament, teams battle for the winning table with hundreds of guests watching.

We are proud to continue our commitment.

Ontario Redimix (ORM) is pleased to support the Camp Day Challenge for Camp Oochigeas (Ooch), sponsored by the industry association Concrete Ontario.  Camp Ooch is a privately funded, volunteer-based organization that provides thousands of children with and affected by childhood cancer, with a variety of year-round camp programs.

ORM organized charity barbeques at all ready mix plants in Ontario, with 100% of all donations going towards the campaign. As a group, CRH Canada, DC and ORM raised over $14 000 for the Camp and both DC and ORM helped set the benchmark for all other concrete producers in Ontario participating in their own Camp Day Challenges.

Knights Table

Ontario Redimix supports the Knights Table through our annual fall food drive and volunteer days.

For over 26 years, Knights Table has served the needs of people dealing with issues of poverty and homelessness in the Peel Region. Driven by citizen needs, Knights Table is supported by a staff of 9 along with over 3,200 volunteers who are committed to assisting people who come through our doors.

The staff and volunteers assist the clients regardless of colour, culture, religion, economic status, gender, sexual orientation or social condition. We are supported by various levels of government, businesses, charitable foundations, groups, churches and individuals. With their assistance they make it possible for our doors to remain open to serve over 74,000 meals annually.

We are dedicated to inspiring all people to achieve their full potential. Knights Table helps by providing food bank, hot meals and other services to the people who deal with the daily issues of hunger, poverty and homelessness.
